Hi everyone. By the time I’m writing this, I’m 25 and already been to 18 countries. I would consider myself as a part-time solo traveler. I have a job here in Cairo, and what I do is save, travel, repeat. this has been the situation for the past 2 years since I started working. No one knows what will happen in the future or whether this will change due to other circumstances, but all I know is that I am not willing to stop soon.
I started traveling at first in the form of student conferences and volunteering projects back in university. I liked the idea of solo traveling, especially that it is not much widespread in my region. So I wanted to try and see how to make the most of it given the limited time and budget. It went well for the past couple of times. Many people around me got curious and I have been receiving a lot of questions about what I am doing. I’m not saying it in a bad way. I really enjoy receiving those questions and answering to them. As I said, not many people do solo-traveling in my surrounding society. Maybe my record is relatively less than many people I meet from different countries. But it is definitely something here. I love answering to the questions and talking about the topic in general. Every time I give a piece of advice to someone before he travels and he actually does it and it in him/her benefiting from it, it really makes me happy and makes me feel I am actually impacting someone with my traveling.
That’s why I have decided to start this. Giving advice and sharing experience on a wider scope. Helping others get information as well as me getting information from other bloggers. I feel it is a great opportunity to really make the information about the world around us more accessible. So here I am. Will try to post as frequently as possible. Let’s see how this will go.
